I draw power and inspiration from music when I write for 30 days on 1 idea. Each time I write, I have music and images in mind, and I make what one editor called mood-boards, and what another writer acquaintance called a “soundtrack” for a story. I’ve done it 9 times this way, “in public”, writing and sharing 250 to 1000 words a day for 30 days straight. …

HRVST: Finishing A Finale To A Book

I am committing to finishing a book, labeled “Book #2”, retitled “Ledger Domain”, over the next 30 days. This is a “how the sausage is made” post. That is to say I am finishing a draft of a book. It’s the second time I’ve written a book this way, in spurts of 30 day bouts. “Book #1”, “Box Of Stars” was done by accident after 6 rounds of monthly madness.
